About Seruya
Kenya’s property market is high-volume and low-trust. That is a structure problem.

What we set out to fix
None of these problems are solved by publishing more listings. They are solved by market structure — verification, scheduling and payment, applied consistently to every property and every participant.
- Fake and duplicate listings spread across multiple sites.
- Agents marketing property without the owner’s authority.
- Hunters losing time, transport money and trust chasing units that are already gone.
- Landlords buried in unqualified, unscheduled calls.
- No standard commission structure, and no formal viewing process.
- No shared reputation record for agents or owners.
How we build
Verification is infrastructure
Not a badge you buy. Ownership is checked against documents, the property is physically inspected, and the agent is identity-verified — before anything is published.
Everything leaves a record
Bookings, viewings, offers, negotiations and payouts are all attached to the property. A dispute has something to investigate, because the transaction was never invisible.
Pay for outcomes, not access
Agent payouts release in stages across booking, viewing, offer and close. An agent who opens a door and disappears earns a fraction of one who finishes the job.
The owner stays in control
You choose your marketing mode, approve every agent, and set the days, hours, group sizes and notice periods that viewings must respect.
Everyone in one accountable system
Property Owners
List free, verify ownership once, choose exclusive, multi-agent, open-network or invite-only marketing, and pay only on a completed lease or sale.

Get real mandates from a live opportunity feed instead of cold-calling landlords, and build a public track record that decides what you get matched to next.

Where we are
Seruya is built and run from Westlands, Nairobi, starting with the residential rental and sale market in and around the city, and expanding area by area as inspection coverage grows. Payments route through a licensed payment service provider — the platform does not hold customer funds directly.
